I am a wedding photographer, professional cake tester and web designer for creative entrepreneurs. My husband Andrew and I live in Kenosha, Wisconsin with our adorable 8 year old lab-pit, Dax. We are renting an old house in downtown and putting our decorative style into it (which could use some help if I am being totally honest). When I'm not at my computer or behind my camera I am cooking or baking, taking my dog for a walk in the neighborhood, on the phone with my mom, trying to keep up with my Snapchat streak to my little sister or binge watching every British crime series on Netflix while curled into my favorite spot on the couch with my husband, a hand-hold away. I never used to be a coffee drinker until one day I had an iced vanilla latte and my taste buds screamed in delight. In the off season, I am also a Starbucks Barista - and I love it so much! I love good coffee and relationships so much that I created a series that allows me to get together with other creatives, listen to them chat all about their super amazing businesses all while we sip our coffees (or tea) together. I am a total sucker for a good donut although, I don't discriminate and will eat most donuts anyways.

I am a Wedding Photographer & Web Designer.

I am very much a self-taught photographer. Over the years I have used many different cameras, watched every online video on photography tips, attended an amazing workshop all the way in Washington, and continue to meet new people & learn new things. Late last year I dabbled in Second Shooting for other photographers and it's amazing working alongside so many talented people. I graduated from DeVry University with a Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia Design & Development. I am thankful for the years I spent learning but I am very happy to be doing what I love most and that is connecting with new people, saving moments and helping creatives with a website they are proud to show-off.

I met my husband on the Internet.

Yep, you read that right. We found each other on Plenty of Fish (I know you are gonna ask what site, haha).I lived in Wisconsin and he was living in Illinois. I moved to Chicago 3 months after we started dating and I found a house looking to fill a spot (it was Jessica Day situation - and I loved it). I ended up adopting the cutest dog I've ever laid eyes on (he has his own hashtag, #thatdogdax) and when that happened we knew we needed to find a place of our own because sharing custody over the dog was getting to be a problem. We were engaged in Chicago at Belmont Harbor after 4 years of dating. Three years later, we planned an intimate City Hall wedding complete with a donut cake. We will be together 8 years this year and married just over a year. Our wedding photos were the most important on our list and I am so happy we invested in this part of our small wedding.
